Joint looks kinda classy, like you actually knew what you were doing. :)...Kidding, just kidding..
I had a look around and stayed to read through your treatise on genre TV. The old stuff still holds true for me. I'm busy acquiring series like Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Wild Wild West, Time Tunnel and The Night Stalker and looking forward to getting more.
We just cancelled our TVDISH subscription. Had enough of non-supported episodic tv. A viewer just gets into something and it's gone.
I'm not supporting them anymore, nor do I want to sit through all the ads, nor do I want to do so on the big screen either.
Why put up with the crud when you can buy or rent what you want?
I love this old stuff. The story lines were all paced for ad insertion and not just cut in anywhere like the stations do now. You feel as though you miss stuff when they do that.
Naaaaaaw. I'm done with tv. I'll wait for the box set.
Tktkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14165107440655741889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8289052302706613417.post-64935324332019388222007-09-22T14:29:00.000-04:002007-09-22T14:29:00.000-04:00One of my favorite horror shows from those years w...One of my favorite horror shows from those years was the BBC Production of Count Dracula shown on PBS, staring Louis Jourdan. The movie was the closest version of the book that has been brought to the screen. The scenes of Dracula climbing down the castle walls under Jonathan Harker's window, gave me nightmares. I notice that this version is finally being released this next week on DVD. I am hoping that it lives up to what I remember as a teenager.fstclsshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10643405010309520309noreply@blogger.com
